It's hard to feel abundant when your are working all the hours God gives you, running after the kids, bickering with your spouse and worrying about the family drama which will erupt like clock work this fast approaching holiday season. Can't cope, wondering if the chaos of your life will ever calm down, or perhaps fed up of living pay check to pay check and wandering what will happen next?
Stop for a moment and take a breath and as you breath in, be thankful you have a job, and that you are not unemployed, homeless and wondering where your next meal will come from. As you take another breath in be thankful for your annoying spouse instead of being desperately lonely because you are not married, sick of dating and know your biological clock alarm has rung and is no longer functioning. Taking yet another deep breath in, be thankful that you have a family who still wants to see you, be with you and love you, instead of spending this holiday season searching for anyone left alive because a typhoon has hit your country and devastated your world.
There is much to appreciate in your life. Stop, stand still and appreciate all the abundance in your life. Turn and recognize the wanting, the needing, and the pursuit of things, jobs and situations are external ideas given to us by media, magazines and movies. You have the breath in your lungs, you have life, you have abundance. Give freely of your abundance instead of wanting more.
