Confusion is something experienced by everyone, everywhere, during various intersections in life. For most people, confusion occurs when major life decisions are under contemplation; career, relationship, and moving are some of the biggest sources of confusion. The confusion arises because of unconscious conflicts. An example of an unconscious conflict; is perhaps on an unconscious level you know the decision you make will effect the course of your life, however, the very knowing your life will change is enough to make you feel insecure, or apprehensive because you do not like change, and thus the internal conflict is born.
There are many unknown variables which may lead a person to be resistant to change in their lives and it is this unknown which creates uncertainty. It is the lack of trust in ones own decision making where anxiety begins to creep in. It's the history of perhaps trusting a decision and then having an adverse unexpected outcome that tells you, you may make another incorrect decision. It is the negative self talk in your mind, that talks you into circles, until you no longer have clarity about the decision you are making. It is the analytical, logical brain that intercedes to try and help you make this decision, unknowingly creating further confusion. It is going outside of your self, seeking opinions from family and friends which also contributes new perspectives to the decision which fuels the descent into further confusion.
Life is about a series of steps forward. These steps forward can only be made by you. It is impossible to make every decision to the end of a positive outcome, as this is life, and in life there are too many unknowns. Thus it may be easier to see your life from the perspective that your purpose in life is about the human experience. Within this human experience you embrace your life, live your life with adventure, fun, and openness exploring unexpected outcomes with interest, as well as challenges and joy with equal fervour. No decision effecting your life can be made by another individual. No decision, can be analysed to the point where you account for every scenario, so as to pick the best outcome, and avoid conflict or pain. No decision can be made without the potential for a poor outcome, or the potential for an excellent outcome.
However, once you know as many facts as possible, understand the truth in the situation, and can step back to evaluate; all decisions can be made with certainty. This certainty is born out of the understanding you will embrace the outcome regardless, so that you may learn. Learn more about yourself, learn more about your life experience and learn more of how to create any outcome as an opportunity for improvement. Learn to trust, be still, allowing your higher knowing to transcend doubt. Know that you can handle any decision you make with grace, and dignity. Trusting your self is an attribute which will eliminate confusion and is certain too move you forward in the right direction of your life's path.
